I would recommend Pillars of Good Health’s services whether you need minor guidance to wellbeing or, as in our case, much more severe help across many areas.

Happy Clients

As a therapist in solo practice, I’m often seeking competent collaborators to round out a client’s care within the community.  Jay and the other Pillars clinicians are professionals with extensive knowledge and creative problem solving and interventions for some of the more complex situations that arise with our clients. I’ve had only positive experiences in working together with Pillars for many years now.

As an experienced outpatient therapist for over 25 years, I have insight and knowledge regarding patients' needs and support.  Pillars of Good Health provides invaluable professional and compassionate services in the community and in the home.  They consistently collaborate with a patients' outpatient team and coordinate what is in the best interest of the patient.  While the patient benefits from this hands on and holistic approach, I often find that family members experience relief and can re-establish relationships with their loved ones because there is a road to independence and autonomy.  I highly recommend their services. — Donna Haros, LICSW

"Jay and his team have served an irreplaceable role in not just my mom’s healthcare, but, as the caretaker, my well-being as well. Over the course of the last year, Jay and his team have witnessed my mom make a full recover from a very dark, horrible place. My mom was very seriously ill and as the sole caretaker it was more than I could handle alone. Jay and his staff were available to me to answer all my questions and concerns at almost every hour of the day. The team took on some of the anxieties I had as the caretaker and allowed me to function more efficiently in my role as caretaker while maintaining my own quality of life. Pillar’s care of my mom extended to many different areas. They helped us find suitable housing and aided in navigating the legal system as it applied to our case. Jay always had some new alternative to try to advance my mom’s quality of life where needed, and yet the Team never moved at a pace or insisted on a treatment plan that I wasn’t comfortable with. If I didn’t like a suggestion or approach, Jay and his team honored each of my requests. The care Jay and his team provide has fluctuated according to our needs and the Team continues to serve as pillars in my mom’s journey to recover.

I would recommend Pillars of Good Health’s services whether you need minor guidance to well being or, as in our case, much more severe help across many areas. Jay and his team were instrumental in saving my mother’s life." - S.L, Boston

I’ve collaborated with the amazing team at Pillars of Good Health for close to 20 years now: what a privilege it is, too, to have a reliable, comprehensive group of liked-minded providers who look at this not as work but as part of our mission. Pillars of Good Health fills a much needed gap in services not easily replicated elsewhere. The mission really is to help support achieving the best mental health and that has to include how to gain and maintain independent living in the community. The team and our patients know that I will make appointments to visit at their residence rather than come to my office, too, if that can help support progress. This direct approach with patients and their families is one of the reasons why Pillars of Good Health has an incredible track-record of success including with patients labeled “difficult” by others. Let’s find ways to break through routine roadblocks to achieve the real goals and full potentials being sought! - John H. Halpern, M.D

As an attorney with Blake Law (formerly known as Blake & Associates) I am very pleased to recommend the services of Pillars of Good Health. Over the years I have had opportunity to work with Jay Giordano and his staff on a number of cases involving individuals suffering from mental illness. Jay and his staff are consistently compassionate, professional and dependable.

Mental illness by its nature is unpredictable and often fraught with disappointment and, at times, failure. Jay remains undaunted. He is always willing to embrace the task at hand with competency, creativity and good nature. He builds custom fitted teams of professionals who surround and support the afflicted person with the goal of keeping that individual as safe, connected and productive as possible. -Clare P. I wanted to share my experience with Jay Giordano and Pillars of Good Health doing neurofeedback. I have been doing it for a little over a year now. It has revolutionized my work I do in therapy and in my life. I have complex PTSD and addiction issues and I've been in therapy for a very long time. Neurofeedback has allowed me to use all the many many skills I have been taught through my years of therapy by slowing me down enough to do the next right thing instead of turning to drugs or poor coping skills. I had a tool kit going into neurofeedback but none of the stuff I have learned over the years ever came naturally until I got into neurofeedback. I was racing through life with blinders on because of the fear I had about the world and everything in it due to severe PTSD. Through neurofeedback I have been able to feel safe to live a much more fulfilling life by Taking those scary memories I had and just turning them into memories (no longer scary). I have better confidence, communication skills, and live a pretty normal life today. I am very thankful to Jay and the pillars of good health for bringing neurofeedback into my life. - Current Client, Boston MA
